Elena Sarango-Muñiz is an executive and leadership coach, emotional intelligence practitioner, and cross-cultural leadership specialist. Before becoming a coach, she spent more than 25 years in senior HR leadership roles across industries including hospitality, oil and gas, technology, professional services, and management systems. Her work included leading diverse teams across the United States, Latin America, and Europe.

That experience shapes a coaching approach grounded in the real challenges leaders face: strategic decision-making, confidence, communication, organizational dynamics, career transition, and the pressure to lead effectively without losing alignment with personal values. Elena often works with high-performing leaders who are successful on paper but feel stuck, unseen, or exhausted by the way they are leading.

Elena is an ICF Associate Certified Coach and trained through Integral Coaching Canada. She is certified in the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 emotional-intelligence assessments and in the Cultural Orientations Framework. She also holds a master’s degree in Hospitality from the University of Houston.

Originally from Peru, Elena is bilingual in English and Spanish. Her cross-cultural perspective helps clients build emotional intelligence, strengthen leadership presence, navigate identity and cultural dynamics, and lead with greater clarity, authenticity, and impact.
