Dr. Kris Miller’s passion is helping people flourish. For more than twenty years, he has taught and coached leaders, helping individuals navigate change, challenge, and growth while building healthier patterns across work and life. As a researcher, professor, and coach, Kris has focused much of his work on human change and human flourishing, helping hundreds of people make meaningful progress even during difficult seasons.
In 2004, Kris began leading ten-day intensive retreats for leaders experiencing transition, crisis, and burnout. Those retreats brought together multidisciplinary teams that included psychologists, therapists, dietitians, financial advisors, massage therapists, and other health-promoting professionals. Through that work, Kris saw firsthand how coordinated support from several different disciplines could influence the whole of a person’s interconnected life.
He also saw the important role coaching could play in helping people move beyond insight and actually implement the lifestyle and behavioral changes they most wanted to make. Those experiences helped shape the model that would become Vitalization Wellness: coordinated, whole-person support designed to help people make sustainable changes rather than addressing challenges in isolation.Today, Kris serves as Co-Founder and Director of Coaching at Vitalization Wellness, where he continues to work with individuals and leaders seeking greater clarity, healthier patterns, purposeful growth, and lasting change.
